What is an APA Success Team?

APA Success Teams consists of 6-8 photographers who meet on a monthly basis and develop individual goals and then remain accountable to themselves and the team for achieving them. Success Teams help provide the inspiration, structure, and accountability many creative professionals need to help advance their career.

APA (American Photographic Artists) is a professional photography organization that understands how tough it is to work on your own. Developing a business plan, consistently producing personal work, and staying on track has never been more difficult. That's why APA created Success Teams.

Success Teams are accountability groups that create the structure that many creative professionals need to help grow their business, such as developing a business strategy, assigning deadlines, getting personal projects out of development and into production, developing a marketing plan, and keeping track of their financial performance. The best part of joining a Success Team is that you get to work with like-minded visual communicators. On top of the benefits you will get from being part of a team of creatives, you’ll also have the satisfaction of seeing your day-in, day-out efforts turn into measurable business results over time.

Here's what photographers are saying about APA Success Teams:

The APA Success Team has been a great experience. Seeing (and showing) new work every month keeps me excited about creating and elevating my own work. Each member's unique approach is insightful and helpful in my own creative process. – Kevin Penczak
Being part of a success team has pushed me to be constantly creating images and working on new ideas. This group has created a supportive atmosphere but also pressures everyone to be accountable to accomplish their goals. – Lizz Giordano
