In the first installment of our Ask Me Anything series, we've lined up Karen Blatchford, who is Senior Art Buyer/Producer at VMLY&R. Karen's resume is littered with brand name agency experience like mcgarrybowen (named ad agency of the year on numerous occasions), FCB Chicago, DDB, and AbelsonTaylor. In addition to her agency experience, she also spent time as a cost consultant and an artist representative. Karen is the Swiss Army Knife of the commercial photography world. She has done it all and is ready to share her vast knowledge with our community in our Ask Me Anything series.

Karen has hired visual artists for automotive, beauty, beverages, consumer goods, fast food, financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail, sports, and tech-related clients. She loves solving problems and working on print, digital, social, or video projects.
